What is the MOQ for this Christmas tinplate star box, and can I mix sizes?

MOQ is 30,000 units at $0.875 FOB Nansha. The 40×38×5.2 cm big box and 15×15×4 cm small box count as separate SKUs; we do not mix MOQs. As a wholesale supplier, we offer tiered pricing for 50K+ units. Custom packaging projects below MOQ may use our ready molds with logo printing minimums of 5,000 pcs.

How long is production lead time for OEM-ODM orders?

New tooling adds 15–20 days; production runs 25–35 days after sample approval. Total OEM-ODM lead time: 45–55 days. Repeat orders with existing molds ship in 20–25 days. We schedule Christmas packaging production April–August to secure vessel space from Guangzhou Nansha port.

Do you provide pre-production samples, and what is the cost?

Yes. Digital proofs are free. Physical samples of ready molds cost $80–$150 including DHL; custom tooled samples run $300–$500 credited against your order. Sample lead time: 7–10 days. We recommend evaluating both the gift box finish and hinge function before confirming OEM specifications.

Can you modify dimensions or switch to leather case materials?

Tinplate dimensions are fixed per mold. For leather bag or leather case alternatives, our ODM team develops new designs in PU, genuine leather, or EVA case constructions with 3,000–5,000 pc MOQs. Tooling costs vary by complexity; share your target dimensions and we quote within 48 hours.
